125 grams softened butter
2 cups S.R. Flour
¼ cup Milk
3 small mashed bananas
pinch salt
1 teasp vanilla essence
½ cup sugar
1 teasp mixed spice
1 tblsp chopped walnuts
2 eggs
Add the bananas to the butter, add the vanilla essence and walnuts and mix well.
Add the eggs and beat for 1 minute with a wooden spoon, add the sugar and beat again.
Add the flour, salt and mixed spice and beat again until well combined. Place into a greased
20cm square cake tin (place a square of greased paper in the bottom of the tin).
Bake in a moderate oven for approximately 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Ice with white vanilla icing and sprinkle with chopped walnuts. |
