Anne's Walnut Crunch Recipe  

1 cup self raising flour
¼ lb butter
½ cup coconut
1 tablespoon golden syrup
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup mixed fruit

Mix dry ingredients.

Melt butter and golden syrup and add to the flour mixture.

Spread into a greased swiss roll tin and cook 20 minutes at 180-190 degrees C.

Leave in tin until cool then ice with lemon icing.
